I had my first visit with AJ’s Wicked today and couldn’t recommend them more! I put off cutting my hair for three years and was really nervous visiting someone new, but Molly was amazing. She was great at talking me through what I wanted and what would work for me within that. And she helped with showing me how to style my new cut. She completely understood the vibe I was going for, and I am so happy I finally found a stylist I can trust in town! I highly recommend and will definitely be back. I was a little intimidated with how long it has been, but everyone at AJ’s was incredibly nice and it was a great experience.

She has always taken time to listen to what I want, and she DELIVERS. Every. Time. But more than that - Taya has always listened to my concerns about my hair texture and health, and she’s always willing to give advice and walk me through care routines. I normally get blonde highlights - Taya puts a gloss on my hair, and I ALWAYS get compliments for days after I get my hair done. (I’m not exaggerating). Taya has always taken into account my hair texture, health, thickness, and overall balance with the rest of my face shape. I can tell that she puts an immense amount of care into strategically picking a color and where she places it. I have requested many different hair cuts to try (straight down, bangs, face framing, curtain bangs) I have had my favorites, but Taya takes extreme care in making sure every cut is tailored to me. She delivers beautifully every time. More than all of that: Taya is a true girl’s girl. She’s always kind, she talks highly about the people around her, she’s always smiling, and she gives compliments freely and sincerely. She’ll make you look and feel so beautiful! I truly cannot recommend Taya enough! AJ’s wicked salon has been a great facility every time I visit. It is clean and welcoming, and the music selection is perfect. The staff are always friendly, and they interact with each other and customers kindly. I have never had a bad experience. It is in the heart of downtown, so it’s great to give yourself a little time before or after your service to go to the coffee shop or antique store across the street.

This review is soooo long overdue. I have been receiving services at Wicked for years. EVERYBODY is great ALL THE TIME. From the minute you walk in, and they greet you by name, everyone is friendly and helpful. I see Brooke. She is very talented and knows her trade. They are definitely worth the booking out time. On time appts, friendly atmosphere, highly skilled artisans with updated training and great downtown location. Call. Now. Book that appt. You deserve it.

Ive been coming to see Taya for the last three years at AJ's Wicked Salon and have always been amazed with the results. This girl knows what's she's doing and is the sweetest person ever. The salon also has a great vibe in general and I don't see myself ever going anywhere else!

Leigh over at Wicked changed my life! She was able to work with my couple of inches long hair (I had just shaved my head a couple of months prior) to give me the extensions I didn’t think were possible. She works with you and makes your goals achievable somehow. Love this salon!
